Workshops and Colloquies

Each year Wabash launches a new set of workshops (for early career faculty) and colloquies (on specified topics, for mid-career faculty) that meet regularly throughout the year.
Round Tables

The aim of the Round Table gathering is to shape a conversation that will be inter-generational, multi-disciplinary, and attend the multi-faceted scholarly identities as teachers of religion and theology. Our intent is to use this time to conceive projects that will gain traction and become life-giving.
Academic Guild Meetings

Consult the Program Book
We have an active presence at a variety of professional academic guild meetings throughout the academic year: hosting dinners, lunch table conversations on teaching, pre-conference workshops, and other sessions on teaching.
Conferences

by Invitation
Although most of our programming is designed for smaller groups, we also have occasion to invite larger groups to discuss a designated issue that challenges that constituency.

Early Career Faculty

The Early Career experience invites teachers who are in their first years of teaching to join a community of peers and leaders who value the cultivation of capacities for empathic care, generative collegiality, and imaginative reflection about teaching as socially responsive craft, vocation and employment
